We're back with a brand new Digital release this
time courtesy of top Italian production duo Alex D'elia and Nihil
Young. The men behind the formidable "frequenza" imprint and agency
grace us with a fantastic 2 track EP of slamming, futuristic techno-the
"Conspiracy EP".

Both tracks are evidence in themselves of how
effective and creative these guys are as producers, utilizing simple,
repetitive motifs to create dancefloor bombs. On "Low End Theory" the
guys build a firm a solid pattern of effected stabs and percussive hits
atop a rumbling bassline in an arrangement that builds and releases in
tension with devastating effect. On "Surrogates" the guys branch out
into slightly quirkier territory with an oscillating, pitch shifting
synth line that permeates the funky, glitchy composition which comes
complete with its own array of processed and effected percussive
accents.

Rekluse
returns with a big slab of noisy electronica from Alex D'elia and Nihil
Young, perfect for the peak time. Over the coming months we have some
amazing EPs on the way as well as a special release in time for our 1st
birthday and we reckon this EP is the ideal way to get things going, on
the way into 2010.

Fresh from their massive "7th Seal" on Craft
Music, in 2009 these 2 Italians have been extremely busy, releasing on
labels such as 8 Sided Dice, Hell Yeah, Blu Fin and Paradigma as well
their own Frequenza imprint. For those unfamiliar with their sound, the
"Aurality EP" is a flawless introduction, title track "Aurality" is a
powerful no nonsense shuffler that is sure to get the adrenaline
pumping. "Waves From The North" is a spacey tech stormer that's not a
million miles away from Rekluse's first release "Umek - 2nd To None"
which hit the number 1 spot of Beatport's Techno top 100. The EP is
rounded off on a groovy tip with "Asses Of Fire", which although is
somewhat calmer, the craziness still clearly prevails.

On remix
duties is Sinisa Lukic, who's recent "Blinking Indicator EP"
collaboration with Umek on 1605 was supported by James Zabiela, PIg
& Dan, Stephan Bodzin, Christian Smith and Grindvik amongst many
others. His mix beefs up the original, subtlety making sure it will
bust a few speakers at the first time of asking...

Culpa-events.be: This ep on Craft Music is worth the label as the label focuses on the dirtier and tougher vibes in dance music. As in other labels which have their home at Great Stuff Music, quality is one of the main ingredients of Craft Music. It's not otherwise in this ep by Alex D'Elia & Nihil Young. My favorite here is the Alex Millan Remix. The track has a proper build up and has an emotional feel which stands out in the break at around 3.41 minutes. It's like the string whispers through the synths and bell like sounds. Another version here which grabbed my attention is the A.Mochi remix. Repetitive but a highly amusing rhythm and vibrating melody which is set to keep the heat on the floor and crowd.

Bastard Language sees Nihil Young construct a trademark combination of minimal and mainroom sounds. Fiercely percussive and set to a heavy pounding beat, the track drives along at high speed, retaining a deep and atmospheric vibe

Black Grass employs a funkier groove but keeps the robotic vibe of the EP. Chunky beats and throbbing bass creating a mechanical drive that is both oppressive and infectious while shrill strings create a tense engines to the energy.
